You will be responsible for the planning & implementation of the Health & Safety for a major construction project in the industrial / manufacturing sector. Roles & ResponsibilitiesAddress all issues concerned with Health, Safety & Environmental for construction / heavy industrial / high risk & hazardous sites. Engage with all key stakeholders Implement H&S strategy across the entire project life cycle (feasibility studies, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance).Liaise with external authorities / insurance providersCarry out risk assessmentsBachelors degree in a relevant fieldExperience working in a Senior H&S role on major multimillion£ construction projects ideally within the manufacturing, nuclear, pharma industries.Experience of leading technical safety and risk assessment in regulated industries (e.g. chemical and process, nuclear, built environment).Have background in safety assessment across the project life cycle (feasibility studies, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance) of plants, infrastructure and/or major hazard facilities.Have solid understanding of relevant international and industry legislation, standards, codes, and guidelines e.g. DSEAR, ATEX, COMAH, etc.Working knowledge of the Construction Design and Management regulations (CDM)
