Our client is looking for an IT Product Specialist to join their growing team in Ashton-Under-Lyne on a permanent basis. Job Summary The main purpose of this role is to understand and interpret business ecommerce needs, priorities, problems, and opportunities and translate them into them into functional and technical system requirements and solutions. Including interfacing to current systems. Main Duties/Responsibilities: Respond to requests for change, gathering requirements and writing stories for detailed system development. Analyse and evaluate current I.T systems and services, with a view to improve performance within budget constraints. Map and document interfaces between existing legacy and new systems Review and identify options, creating solutions that fit the business from a technical and commercial perspective Conduct requirements analysis for business related changes Collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders and external partners and service providers Translate non-technical requirements into highly technical specifications Create High-level design documents (HLD’s) Develop, analyse, prioritise, and organise requirement specifications, data mapping and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow. Offer support to internal IT technicians operating 1st and 2nd line support. Qualifications/Experience: Degree in an IT related area. Or 2 to 5 years IT experience plus a demonstrable grasp of business-related issues and opportunities.
