This role gives you the chance to work closely with the site operational teams, promoting and encouraging best practice across the region. As the Interim HSE Manager you will be overseeing a cluster of sites across the Midlands & South regions, ensuring the business continues to move forward on their Health, Safety & Environmental journey. Key responsibilities include:Working with the senior management team to deliver a Health & Safety Strategy.To work with the operational team in the maintenance of an environmental standard; establishment, implementation and maintenance of ISO14001 alongside other management systems. To promote the use of the system and develop the Health & Safety culture as in conjunction with the senior management team. To consult and liaise with the Managers and Directors on changes to the system and the effects of the system on the business.To take part in the activities of the Senior Team and be a fully functioning member of that team. To introduce other compliance related systems and project work as required by the organisation. To communicate all Compliance issues to the wider company to drive best practice. Ensuring legal compliance, mitigating environmental risk & monitoring compliance to current legislationRecommending improvements across the business.Advising on legislation changes when necessary.Maintaining the existing HSE system & suggesting changes in order to improve it furtherLiaising with the personnel & management to promote Health & Safety way of thinkingProviding, recommending or requesting training in matters relating to Health & Safety and/or Environmental mattersA HSE specialist available at short notice with first-hand experience of managing health & safety within multi-site manufacturing or distribution operations. The successful applicant will have:NEBOSH (Diploma ideally but Certificates will be considered)ISO 14001 & 45001 experienceExperience recommending & supporting in the implementation Health & Safety improvement plansThe ability to work with a multi-disciplined team in order to champion a HSE aware workforceThe ability to drive consistent improvements across multiple sites

The Logistics Manager duties and responsibilities are:Manage the entire logistics process from the storage and distribution of goods.Plan routes and load scheduling for deliveries.Track products through depots to ensure they arrive at their destination.Oversee the order and delivery process to ensure timely deliveries.Manage budgets and staffing in the logistics department.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Maintain a strong relationship with suppliers and customers.Implement logistical strategies to improve efficiency and reduce cost.A successful Logistics Manager should have:Few years experience in a similar role within the logistics, supply chain, transport or distributionProven track record of managing a busy logistics operationKnowledge of logistics and supply chain management principlesExcellent leadership and organisational skillsProficiency in using logistics softwareStrong problem-solving skillsExposure to FORS standard is advantageous

Manage the inventory levels of the stock portfolio, identifying shortages, disposals, future requirements etc.Maintain MRP and other planning systems with information, updated in a timely and accurate manner, to ensure that product delivery is at the forefront of all activities.Efficient operation and control of the resources in your control by ensuring sufficient stock at appropriate location, management of supplier substitution and calling off orders according to contracts, identify out of stock issues.
