Strong communication skills are vital as is an ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships, inside and outside of Finance.A process improvement mindset is key as well as a hands on approach and willingness to respond to business imperatives as necessary.

Initially a 6 month project to include understanding and documenting, year end, month end and weekly standard costing procedures, with the opportunity to grow and to add additional business partnering services to the group.Update standard costs in the bill of materialsReview standard and actual costs for inaccuraciesUnderstand Job variances, PPV's, Production recoveriesValidate the cost of goods sold as part of month-end closeRevise/review and provision obsolete inventory as neededReport on periodic variances and their causes. And where applicable drivers i.e., split between price, volume and mix split betweenBe the conduit between Finance and Operations to bring the monthly numbers to life and add operational valueYou will be a qualified or QBE Finance Manager with a deep understanding of Manufacturing accounting, standard costing, and have considerable exposure to ERP systems.
